We're launching AI Monitoring tomorrow — here's why we built it

by

Hey everyone,

Tomorrow we're launching a major new feature on Geol.ai: AI Monitoring.

Quick context — we built Geol.ai to help brands optimize for AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI. But after helping hundreds of sites improve their AI visibility, we realized there was a gap in our own platform: no way to track whether optimizations are actually working.

Traditional SEO has Google Search Console, rank trackers, and analytics. AI search is starting to get its own monitoring tools, but most are standalone — disconnected from the optimization workflow. We wanted monitoring built directly into the same platform where you're already optimizing.

So we built AI Monitoring into Geol.ai — closing the loop between optimization and measurement.

Here's what it tracks:

  • Brand mentions across up to 8 AI engines

  • Citation tracking (when AI links to your content)

  • Brand sentiment (positive/neutral/negative)

  • Competitor detection (who's showing up alongside you)

  • Visibility score trends over time

What makes our approach different is the feedback loop: optimize your site's AI formats, then monitor how those changes impact your visibility across engines — all in one place.

We'd love your feedback tomorrow when we launch. A few questions we're genuinely thinking about:

  1. Which AI engines matter most to your business? We cover ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Copilot, Grok, and Claude — but priorities vary by industry.

  2. If you're already using an AI monitoring tool, what's missing? We want to learn from what's out there.

Drop any questions below — happy to answer anything before launch!
