Hey everyone! 👋

I'm Tanmay, a solo developer. Like many of you, I'm tired of needing a monthly subscription just to do simple tasks like removing an image background or converting files.

In this era where everyone is slapping an "AI Tax" on basic utilities, I spent my weekends building UnitMaster to give these tools away for free.

What I built:

  • UnitMaster.io (https://unitmaster.io)

  • The Features: Privacy-first Image Tools (Remove BG, Passport Photo), Engineering-grade Unit Converters, and Financial Calculators.

  • The Promise: No signups, no paywalls, no data uploads (everything runs locally in your browser).

My Goal: To create the "Wikipedia of Utilities" — a polished, premium-feeling place where the tools just work, without the greed.
