Soft-launching VeilScan: proof-based security reports

by

Hey everyone, I’m soft-launching VeilScan today.

It’s a proof-based external vulnerability scanner for startups, SaaS teams, fintech products, and lean technical teams.

The problem I’m trying to solve is simple:

Most small teams ship fast, but they don’t always know what their external attack surface looks like. Traditional scanners often return long noisy lists, but not enough clear proof, context, or business impact.

VeilScan is built around verified security evidence.

You add your domain, verify ownership, and VeilScan maps the external attack surface, checks for serious issues, verifies findings with real proof, and generates a professional risk report in under two hours.

It focuses on:

- proof-backed findings

- attack-path context

- business impact scoring

- compliance mapping

- clear PDF reports

- no agents, credentials, or internal access

I built this because I kept seeing startups, especially AI-built and fast-moving teams, launch polished products while leaving risky external gaps behind.

Would love feedback from founders, developers, CTOs, and security people.

Impressive soft-launch! The proof-backed approach to vulnerability scanning sounds perfect for fast-moving teams...I'll check out VeilScan.

If you're up for it, I'm launching The Sponge on PH soon...an AI-powered flashcard app that turns webpages into study material with spaced repetition. Would appreciate a follow (see "PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH" link in my profile).
