šŸ‘‹ SaaS Founder Building in Public - Aviation & Publishing Tools

by•

Hey Product Hunt community! šŸš€

I'm a SaaS founder passionate about solving real problems in niche markets. Currently building in public across multiple platforms and would love to connect with fellow makers and entrepreneurs here.

What I'm Building:

• AviatAce - Type Rating preparation platform for pilots. Interactive cockpit simulations, comprehensive question banks, and multimedia content to help pilots nail their certifications.

• NicheSnap - KDP niche research tool helping authors discover profitable book niches and make smarter publishing decisions.

Both products came from personal pain points - I believe the best products solve problems you've experienced yourself.

My Journey:

- Engineering background turned SaaS entrepreneur

- Building with lean budgets and creative marketing

- Heavy on automation (n8n, Make, Zapier)

- Active in aviation and self-publishing communities

Why I'm Here:

Looking to connect with other builders, learn from this amazing community, share my journey (wins and failures), and discover great products.

Currently Exploring:

- Scaling customer acquisition strategies

- Marketing automation workflows

- Product-led growth tactics

- API integrations and technical implementations

Good to see more projects being open-sourced, even in a niche domain such as aviation.Ā

Another area that I've been working on recently is web tooling and understanding the problem space of tool discovery.Ā

One pattern that keeps emerging to me again and again is that discovery is very fragmented. There are lots of awesome tools out there, but they are spread across different blog posts and online directories, so I've been thinking about different ways to structure that experience, with Unstore being one possible example.Ā

Just wondering what your priorities are at the moment, do you focus more on developing features or start considering distributionĀ early on?Ā
