  • The update focuses on closing the gap between the original vision and user experience, with over 30 software improvements and active community feedback.

  • Users can now build their own tools, games, and experiences directly on R1 through simple conversation—no coding required.

  • Creations” marks a step toward a new kind of app store, empowering non-technical users to shape their device’s capabilities in real time.

Thanks for spreading the word, @chrismessina! We're pumped to get rabbitOS 2 and creations out there for all r1 users to try for themselves. Maybe it's time for an official Product Hunt launch? :)

Chris Messina

@ryanfenwick say the word! Happy to be your hunter! 🐇

Thank you for sharing, @chrismessina (hopefully you remember me from working on the Communities feature at the site formerly known as Twitter) - We are very proud here at rabbit to have launched this update!

Chris Messina

@sbalmain absolutely! Nice to see you landed on a new promising platform!

Whatever happened to the Large Action Model?

Simon Balmain

@chrismessina LAM is still present on device and web via LAM Playground, and we did ship some improvements to it with OS2 also (in fact, there's an to-date under-explored little trick, where you could actually make Creations that trigger LAM Playground queries - haven't seen anyone do this yet but it's possible!)

One of our next big projects internally is an agentic refactor based on a lot of the new research in this space.
