Quick SOP — Create SOPs & Work Instructions in Minutes

by

Hey Product Hunt 👋

I just launched Quick SOP — an iPhone app that helps you create professional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions in minutes, not hours.

If you’ve ever dealt with messy Word docs, scattered photos, or “tribal knowledge” living in someone’s head… this was built for you.

✅ What Quick SOP helps you do

  • Create clean, step-by-step SOPs using professional templates

  • Add photos to each step so instructions are crystal clear

  • Duplicate SOPs for faster repeatable workflows

  • Export a polished PDF for training, compliance, and consistency

🎯 Who it’s for

Operations / production supervisors, small business owners, and anyone building repeatable processes for training teams.

💬 I’d love your feedback

Which industry do you build SOPs for (warehouse, construction, hospitality, healthcare, trades)?
And what would make SOP creation easier for you — video export, approvals, checklists, multilingual SOPs, something else?
What additional features would you like to see?

Thanks for checking it out! 🙌

Hi,

Congrats on launch! The first question came to me when I looked at your website "What is SOP?" I understand "work instructions" and it looks interesting but if I knew what "SOP" means, I can get better if this app is for me, or not.

I understand your logic here like "If a visitor doesn't know what SOP means, it's not for them" but I believe there are still people that can use it, and they don't know what SOP means.

Anyway, good luck with your app!

@seacat Hi Kath — thank you for the thoughtful feedback, and you’re absolutely right to call that out.

SOP stands for Standard Operating Procedure, which is essentially a clear, step-by-step way to document how a task should be done so it’s repeatable and consistent.

Many teams already create SOPs without calling them that — they might think of them as checklists, work instructions, training guides, or “how-to” processes.

You make a very fair point that people can benefit from Quick SOP even if they don’t know the term yet. That’s great feedback, and we’ll look at making the meaning of SOP clearer on the site so it’s easier for new users to quickly understand whether the app is right for them.

Really appreciate you taking the time to share this — and thanks again for the launch support 🙌
