Our Reflection Engine is ready!

We have released our custom Reflection Engine! This engine is designed to output reflection scores and detailed insights to help improve your critical thinking skills.
Through a combination of research-backed frameworks and AI-powered assistance, we break down your reflections and give you structured and tailored advice to improve your reflection score, based on your inputs. The higher the score, the better your critical thinking. The objective is to maintain a high score for as long as possible to keep your reflection skills sharp.
To illustrate this, I reflected on an event today using one of the templates available in the app. The event in question was shipping my latest feature for Jots, the AI-generated tasks.
I started by filling out the questions in the template with my own reflections.
After submitting my inputs, I received a new analysis report in my Growth Dashboard. My score was 78. Better than my last score of 65! This is because I used the feedback I got from my previous report.
I have a high-level analysis summary available for a quick learning extraction. I can also dive deeper into the category breakdown, which outlines the components influencing the reflection score.
We use the following 6 categories for scoring:
Reflection Depth
Emotional Awareness
Goal Alignment
Learning Extraction
Perspective Taking
Reflexivity
From this view, I can see what I need to do to improve my critical thinking for next time. In my case my critical thinking could benefit from associating my emotions to specific decisions made. Looking at measuring and testing my changes, sharpen trade-offs for future features etc.
The higher the score, the better your ability to reflect and process an event. The scale is from 0 to 100. Here is a breakdown of the different score thresholds.
