Not your ordinary Project Management tool
by•
Since I've never seen a product like this before, but always wanted it, I collected all of my thoughts and combined them into the Pocket PMO. A tool for Project Management Officers to Project Managers to anyone who wants quick insights into the running of a project. It uses but simplifies complex concepts such as PERT (not that hard) to CPM to Monte-Carlo to Earned Value, Earned Schedule and simplifies them so that they are easy to apply.
This is an MVP that saves everything in the browser memory (persistent storage) and doesnt require a login or credit card. It will remember your project the next time you come back.
Do you find it useful? What features would you like to see added?

Imagine you are a project stakeholder and want an update on a project. You want to know if the project is on track or not. You walk up to the Project Manager and get the start date and end date. And now, with the Pocket PMO, you will know in less than 5 seconds!
Top tip: When adding a new project, select a date range (start date, end date) and a template such as the software development template. This will then create multiple phases and milestones, the durations of which will be accurately spaced out based on the industrys Best Practices. If the date range overlaps with today, then you are in for a treat!
Click on 'Earned Value' gauge icon. All of the milestones have been prefilled and you can tell if you are on track based on Best Practices! And you can adjust any of the dates and or milestone costs as needed.

Want more detailed tracking? Easily evaluate the sequential tasks required to complete the project (critical path). And/or click a single button to run 1000 simulations of the project to determine the probability that the project will end on the stated date. Or, add another date and find out the probability it will end on that date.
Easy. Enjoy.
