Launching TenantGuard tomorrow — a Microsoft 365 security scanner that finds issues
Hey PH community 👋
Launching tomorrow and wanted to share what I've been building.
The problem: auditing a Microsoft 365 tenant for security issues means jumping between 6 different admin portals, running PowerShell scripts, and manually cross-referencing everything. Most IT admins know they should be checking these things — MFA gaps, legacy auth, external mail forwarding, inactive admin accounts — but it takes hours to do properly, so it doesn't get done regularly.
TenantGuard connects to your M365 tenant via the Microsoft Graph API and runs 7 security checks in parallel. Takes about 2 minutes. Each issue comes with a one-click fix that applies directly via Graph API — no PowerShell, no portal hopping.
What I'd love feedback on before tomorrow:
- Is $29/month the right price for a Pro plan targeting SMB IT admins and MSPs?
- What other M365 security checks would you want to see?
- Anyone here manage Microsoft 365 tenants who'd be willing to try the free scan and give honest feedback?
First scan is completely free at tenantguard.io — would mean a lot to get some real-world feedback before the launch.
Tomorrow at midnight PST if you want to support the launch — every comment helps more than upvotes 🙏
