I’m David — engineer, storyteller, and the founder behind David Labs.

A bit about me:

🔹 I’ve spent the last few years building across healthcare, AI, cloud, and identity

From migrating legacy hospital systems, to parsing HL7 messages, to architecting multi-cloud deployments — I’ve lived most of my career in messy, high-stakes systems where reliability isn’t optional.

🔹 I’m obsessed with building things that fix what people silently suffer with

Whether it’s fraud in healthcare, broken digital identity, or the chaos of personal finance — I’m drawn to problems that affect real people every single day.

🚀 David Labs — The Umbrella I’m Building Under

David Labs is my playground for building systems around TRAPS:
Transparency, Responsibility, Accountability, Privacy, Stealth.

We make products that don’t interrupt people — they protect them.

So far we’ve built:

• David — a healthcare forensics engine to detect fraud using HL7 movement trails.

• Khat — a digital identity + consent layer through exchangeable “cards.”

• Zubo — an AI-powered reflection game that shifts personas.

• Tastory — mood-driven recipe discovery using vector search.

Recently I’ve been building something more personal: Solidus, a financial simulation engine.

Not an advisor.
Not a budgeting tool.
A sandbox where you can practice money the way people practice games.

You enter your spending patterns → Solidus reflects your behaviour → you learn before you risk real money.
It even evaluates your impulsive thoughts based on your past behaviour.
