How Citywize Built 200+ UK Area Reports in Under a Month

Hey everyone — I’m Zack, the founder of Citywize 👋

A few weeks ago I started building a simple idea:
make UK neighbourhood data actually usable for normal people.

No sign-ups, no jargon, no spreadsheets — just clear, human explanations.

Fast forward to today and Citywize now has:

• 200+ static area reports

• A real-time postcode search tool

• Clean summaries of crime, affordability, schools, and amenities

• No ads, no paywalls (yet)

• All powered by official UK data

What surprised me most:
people immediately shared detailed feedback — the positive and the brutally honest stuff. And honestly, that’s been the most valuable part. It’s shaped what we fix, what we improve, and what we build next.
