Hello I'm John Heeter
I’m John, a full-stack builder who spends most of my time creating things that make AI and crypto feel less intimidating and more fun for everyday people. I’ve been a digital nomad for years, bouncing between Europe and Southeast Asia, usually splitting my time between building, exploring nature, and trying to find good WiFi in unexpected places.
I created Fiddl.art because I wanted a place where anyone could make great AI art without needing to understand prompts, models, or any of the usual complexity. It grew into a community with its own points system, missions, public gallery, and a culture of people experimenting and learning from each other. I’m also the founder of Boid, which focuses on using crypto for social good, and I’m slowly shaping a bigger vision around how people can interact with tech in more accessible, creative ways.
Most of my projects start as experiments that I build to solve my own problems. If they help other people too, then I know I’m on the right track. I’m here to share what I’m working on, connect with other makers, and learn what everyone else is building. Happy to chat with anyone working on AI, community products, or creative tools.
