Well underway with some of these. I've also made the FINAL of a Startup Challenge. Last pitch tomorrow!

Development and usage has been going well - have now had 25,000+ levels completed by players since launch. Given that some of them are pretty difficult this is a good number!

In terms of developments since the last update:

  • A 'Daily Extreme' challenge with harder levels for expert players [DONE, there are now Classic, Pro and Extreme levels every day. ]

  • Further work on levels/difficulty process - making levels more consistent in difficulty [UNDERWAY: I have been training the algorithm based on previous user data to improve level generation]

  • Pause button (stop the clock!) DONE

  • Multiplayer/realtime tournament (play a friend online) - in development - [READY to test if anyone wants EARLY ACCESS!]

  • Integration with Algorand (Web3) for micropayments/reward mechanics [in discussion]

  • A 'level designer' - allow people to design their own level and challenge their friends to complete (partially developed) - [READY to test if anyone wants EARLY ACCESS! Am also building a searchable/browsable 'playground' of levels to "play on demand" and which will probably go into a paid tier]

  • Mobile app [not yet, going to keep it as a web app for now]

I've also made big improvements to the mobile UI - the play area can now be expanded/shrunk using pinch-and-zoom. Small piece manipulation is much better - with visual halos on mobile.

Added 'hinting' - if you play a level for over 1 minute a hint option appears, at 2mins another hint becomes available, as well as a 'give up and show me the solution' option.

Added "YESTERDAY'S SOLUTIONS" - animated playback of yesterdays puzzles.

A triangular variant is well underway - this was more complex than envisaged - triangles have up/down orientations which squares don't.
