Are AI interview practice tools actually helping candidates?
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about AI phone interviews and especially AI practice interviews.
On the good side, practice clearly helps some people feel less nervous and communicate more clearly. That feels like a win.
But I keep wondering:
Are people getting better at explaining their thinking, or just better at saying what the AI wants to hear?
Do answers start to sound the same after enough practice?
And if practice does help, is that leveling the field or quietly changing what we’re actually measuring?
We’re building a free AI phone interview + practice experience, and I don’t have a strong answer yet.
Curious how others here see it especially if you’ve hired with AI tools or used them as a candidate.
Does practice improve signal, or blur it?
