TyCal gives you a lightning-fast, read-only peek at your Apple Calendar—right from your Mac’s menu bar. No clutter. No distractions. Just your events where you need them, when you need them. ✅ Clean & modern interface ✅ Multiple views: monthly, weekly or daily ✅ Event indicators with native calendar colors ✅ Fully customizable appearance & behavior ✅ Privacy-first: read-only access, no syncing required ✅ Minimal footprint — big productivity boost Perfect for makers, developers, and busy professionals who live by their calendars but don’t want yet another app demanding attention.

Minimalism FTW! Instant access to your Apple Calendar without app-hopping sounds perfect for people who live in their menu bar (like me) Does it sync smoothly with multiple calendars?

Thanks for the feedback - to answer your question: YES.

This was one of my main focues I wanted to have, that it is not limited to only one calendar, as I'm using also a lot of them. You can freely use, which calendar should be synced and which one not:

Clean and useful - being able to peek at my Apple Calendar right from the menu bar is the kind of tiny productivity upgrade that sticks. Nice work!

Love this product !

I thought I'm the only one irritated by the full view of native Calendar app ;) This tiny one is very handy, doesn't create extra mess on the screen when I only need to quickly check a date

Great idea, Marcel! TyCal’s clean design and quick access to my Apple Calendar without distractions is exactly what I need. The native calendar colors are a nice touch for easy event identification.

Curious—will there be support for other calendar apps in the future? Looking forward to seeing this evolve!

Hey ,

thanks, for the nice feedback!

About your feature idea, seems to be interesting. Do you have any calendar app you think should be prioritized to be supported as well?

Congrats on the launch! What appearance tweaks are available, like color themes matching macOS or resizing the menu bar icon dynamically?

Cool! You plan to sell a premium?

You can buy the app for 2$ for a lifetime. No other model planned yet.
