If a term sheet is longer than 2-3 pages, chances are that 90% of the provisions are aimed at situations which almost never occur. This no-nonsense templates aims to make the life of founders, VCs, and maybe even their lawyers a little easier.

Would this TS apply also to Europe? Do you have any similar template of TS just for CoFounders before they go after VC?

we’re open to that too. The TS template is not exhaustive in the sense that we insist on it. It just means we won’t push for other terms.

The 2-page term sheet is a far better offering for investing in a new start-up

Pros:

Easier to navigate and close the deal

Cons:

Might miss some unforeseen incidences
