Translera came out of a frustration I kept running into while building apps.
It’s not just Google Translate, most AI translation tools also struggle with app localization, for the same core reason:
they don’t understand the application context.
UI strings aren’t standalone sentences.
The same word can mean very different things depending on:
- where it appears in the app
- who the user is
