Are Android Developers Less Competitive Than iOS Devs (When It Comes to Promotion)?"

I started working on my product after watching the growth of topapp.lol for iOS apps. One thought kept looping in my mind: are iOS developers really the only ones willing to invest in promoting their apps? Why aren't Android developers as competitive when it comes to marketing spend?

That question stuck with me, so I decided to find out by building the same concept, but exclusively for Android: topandroidapp.lol

Curious what this community thinks do Android devs actually spend less on promotion, or has no one just built the right platform for them yet?
