Hey Product Hunt.

We built TierGauge because most "best of" SaaS lists are stale by the time they rank. Pricing pages get rewritten, free tiers disappear, plans get renamed, and the comparison sites that buyers actually land on through Google sit untouched for 18 months while teams use them to make real adoption decisions.

The wedge is freshness. Once a week, Playwright re-scrapes every vendor's official pricing page, and we stamp the verification date on every plan we publish. If a vendor changes a price on Tuesday, the corresponding /tools/[slug] page reflects it the following Sunday. The capture date is visible on every page, not buried in a footer.

The spine today covers 37 marketing and sales SaaS tools across email marketing, sales engagement, web analytics, customer support, landing pages, scheduling, forms, and a few adjacent verticals. We also publish 35 long-form migration guides for the moves people are actually searching for (substack to beehiiv, mailchimp to mailerlite, kit to customer-io, and so on) with cost math and the cutover gotchas you usually find out about the hard way. Five cost calculators handle the back-of-envelope step before someone commits.

Editorial posture: anonymous-by-design. No named author, no founder bio. The data and the methodology stand on their own. No paid placements, no sponsored slots, no "best of" lists ranked by which programs have approved us. Affiliate links are disclosed per link with rel sponsored, and rankings are independent of affiliate status. The methodology is at /methodology.

The full dataset is also free under CC BY 4.0 at /api for journalists, researchers, and competing publishers. Use it, cite it, fork it. We would rather it be useful than locked up.

Where to start:

- /tools - the 37-tool spine

- /best - category and use-case leaderboards

- /migrate - long-form switch guides

- /freshness - see what was re-verified this week
