There - Timezones of friends & teammates

by
Track local time of people across time zones not abbreviation of time zones. Enter city, type a name and optionally attach a photo or type their X (Twitter) username. There! You can also add places or UTC offsets. All of them packed nicely in your menubar.

Congratulations on your launch @denasohrabi and the Team! It's exciting to see how your tool can help users track local times across various cities without the confusion of time zone abbreviations. I’m curious, how does your application handle daylight saving time changes for different locations?

@shiva_tejasvi Thanks @shiva_tejasvi! Yes, it handles daylight saving time changes. We use Apple's API to manage this.

Love the concept! As someone who works with international teams, this could be a real time-saver. One suggestion: it'd be awesome if you could integrate calendar syncing to show when contacts are available or in meetings. Also, any plans for a mobile version? That would be super handy for quick checks on the go. Keep up the great work!

@andyroamer Thank you for your comment Andy! Great suggestion, Mobile version as widget is in my plan for later updates. Let me know if you have any other suggestions!

I've been using There since it's initial launch, years ago, and I'm loving the new native version!! It's surprisingly hard to find a visually appealing and minimalist time zone tracker app, and I love the easy access from the menu bar

@allen_xu1130 It handles daylight saving times and kept up to date automatically because it uses Apple's system APIs that are always updated automatically by Apple.

There sounds like a brilliant solution to the often tedious task of managing time zones. I love how you’ve made it more personal and intuitive by allowing users to add names and photos and even fetch photos using Twitter (X) usernames. The ability to search by various criteria like city names and offsets is incredibly useful. Could you please share what inspired the use of Twitter (X) usernames for fetching photos and how you envision this feature enhancing the user experience?
Dena Sohrabi
@hamna_malik Thank you for your comment, Hamma! Actually, whenever I want to add something that uses photos, I prefer it to be linked to social platforms like X. For my own use of the app, I needed to see the time zones of friends who were mostly on Twitter, and it was necessary.

@denasohrabi Thanks for the insights! If you could hit ‘Notify Me’ on the 'Coming Soon' badge next to my name for InterWiz AI updates, that would be awesome. Can’t wait to hear what you think when we launch!
