Has anyone else noticed AI design tools all kind of... look the same?

I've been deep in AI design tools lately and there's this thing I keep running into, you can almost always tell when something was "AI generated." Same gradient blobs, same font pairing, same generic spacing. It's not bad, exactly, it just doesn't feel like it was made by someone who actually cares.

We've been building something that tries to solve for that specifically, not "make a design fast," but "make a design that doesn't scream AI made this." Output as real HTML too, so it's not stuck as a mockup you hand off to someone else.

Still early, 30-ish beta testers, learning a lot from what breaks.

Genuinely curious though for the people here who build or design a lot, what's the actual tell for you? Is it the colors, the layout patterns, the copy tone, something else? Trying to understand what "looks AI" even means to different people.
