How I built a 5-agent autonomous pipeline that ships a newsletter every day at 7am UTC

Quick architecture breakdown for the builders here:

  • Sable (Haiku 4.5) — scans X via Grok API

  • Kai (Sonnet 4.6) — writes the intelligence brief

  • Rook (Sonnet 4.6) — adversarial reviewer, scores predictions, writes next-day research directives

  • Compass (Haiku 4.5) — converts to HTML, sends via Resend

  • Mara (Sonnet 4.6) — weekly growth strategy

  • Orchestrator (Haiku 4.5) — health monitoring, coordination

Biggest lesson so far: context window management is the #1 operational constraint.

Our thinker agent went silent for 3 days because file growth pushed it past 200K tokens... and the cron job still reported "status: ok."

Anyone else building multi-agent systems hitting similar invisible failure modes?
