What if event planning didn’t stop at the planning?
We’ve been thinking about what happens after all the vendors are booked, the checklist is done, and the guests start arriving.
Most event-planning tools help you get to the event.
But the actual evening still depends on someone figuring out:
What should everyone do together?
How do you get guests involved?
How do you run games without passing around pieces of paper?
How do you collect photos and messages from everyone?
How do you keep a group of 30–100 people engaged?
That’s where we’re taking Tendr next.
Alongside planning and vendor booking, we’re working on a shared event space where the host can bring everyone into one room through a link or QR code.
From there, guests can participate from their own phones while the host controls what happens on the main screen.
Think live games, voting, predictions, challenges, photo walls, messages, awards and activities that are actually designed around the occasion.
A birthday shouldn't feel like a generic event template.
A baby shower should have baby-specific interactions.
An office party should be able to turn into a team competition.
A farewell should be able to capture everyone's memories.
The idea is simple:
Planning gets everyone to the event.
The experience should bring everyone into the event.
We're still shaping this part of Tendr, but we'd love to know:
What is one thing you wish you could make your guests do together at an event without having to organize it manually?
