Tendr - A to-do app with a pet that dies if you neglect it

by
Tendr is a journal-shaped productivity app with a virtual pet at the center of it. Finish tasks to earn XP, spend XP to feed your pet, focus to build your bond. Forget for three days and it's gone. A quiet almanac for getting things done.

Hi everyone — Tendr is something I've been working on for a while. Most productivity apps are lists that don't care whether you open them. I wanted one that did. So in Tendr, your tasks earn XP, your XP feeds a small animal that lives inside the app, and your focus time builds a bond with it. If you stop showing up for three days, the pet dies. Your streak and XP stay — you just lose the companion. Three stats: belly (hunger), bond (closeness), mood (how it's feeling). Four moods: sad, content, happy, sleepy. The Ledger page keeps a quiet record of everything you've done — a heatmap, time spent, categories. The design is meant to feel like an old almanac or journal, not a dashboard. Warm paper colors, serif type, Roman numerals on the sections. Calm on purpose. The pet is the thing that asks something of you; everything else just sits there until you need it. Free to use. Works on phone and desktop. No ads, no upsells. Try it: https://tendr-tick-treats.onrend... Happy to hear what you think — especially what's confusing, broken, or missing.

The cafe-themed UI is really good. The product’s user flow still needs some work.

Killing the pet if the user isn’t active for a day feels a little dark, but overall it looks like a really good productivity app.

I’ll personally use it this week.
