I built WorkMentionBot because I kept seeing the same problem in Telegram teams: when something urgent happens, people either ping everyone and create noise, or they ping manually and lose time. Both options hurt response speed and team focus. The problem I wanted to solve was simple: make it easy to notify exactly the right people, at the right time, without turning the chat into chaos. That’s why WorkMentionBot focuses on mention groups, shifts, and schedules, so teams can route attention instead of spamming entire chats. My process evolved a lot during the launch. At first, I was focused mostly on core functionality. Then real usage pushed me to improve structure and reliability: DM-first setup, owner-only permissions, clearer onboarding, stronger payment handling, better localization, and support workflows. In other words, it evolved from “a useful mention utility” into “an operational tool teams can actually rely on daily.”
