Tap is a platform that lets businesses collect customer information via NFC. Once set up, a customer taps their phone, a form opens, and their profile auto-fills their information- no more typing or back and forth. Data is sent straight to the dashboard and when customers make updates to their profile they are received instantly so your records stay current. Example: At a Doctor's office, rather than filling out the same forms, a patient taps once to share the needed info instantly.

Hey guys! I'm a co-founder and CEO of Tap. I had the initial idea for Tap because I was tired of filling out the same forms across different doctors offices and thought it would be easier to have one universal profile that could be used anywhere (sort of like OAuth, but for in-person interactions). This led to Tap, where we have a much more expanded vision for use cases where you can "Tap" to share your information (like tapping to pay), like: - University clock-in/out for tutors. Tutors can just tap to clock-in/out, rather than having to sign-in to a time card manager. (currently live) - Tutoring check-outs. After a student goes to tutoring, they Tap to give basic info, like who their tutor was, feedback on the tutor, course, and professor. This gives faculty deep insights into both tutors and which courses/professors require the most/least academic support. - Career fairs. Rather than printing multiple physical resumes, you can tap to share your resume with an employer. - Gym access. Just tap your phone to access your gym. Gyms no longer have to issue physical RFID key fob. - Restaraunt/grocer rewards. You no longer have to fill out your phone number/enter in a rewards number. Tap once to share your rewards info to the POS. - Hotels. Skip the long check-in process at the hotel. Tap once to share all required info and head to your room. Eventually, you'll be able to tap to open your hotel room too! - Identification. At the bank, the bar, or even a casino, tap to share your verified ID. We want you to be able to do all of this (and more) with Tap. One source of truth, a universal profile, that you can use wherever.
