👋, Product Hunt! Tango is back and we’re here to help you Get Sh*t Done! Before I explain how, let me provide the backdrop. When we originally launched on Product Hunt (Product of the year runner up in 2021 thanks to all of you!), our goal was to make creating documentation, how-to guides, and SOPs less painful. The response from this community was incredible, and helped validate what we were building. Fast forward and there are over 350,000 people using Tango. Wow, it’s still hard to believe! While people were using Tango to create beautiful how-to guides, faster than ever before, we were talking with customers. We learned what product improvements would have the biggest impact on their lives, and we quickly went back into build-mode. Now, what’s up with the expletive above…? As exciting as our prior PH launches have been, this one takes the cake. It’s not even close. I am thrilled to announce the launch of Guidance. Guidance is an entirely new way to learn on the job and get work done faster. Starting today, Tango’s frictionless how-to guides are transformed into on-screen interactive walkthroughs with built-in peer insights. With Tango Guidance, users get: 🔎 Guidance without meetings. Guidance shows viewers exactly where to take action on their screen. With built-in context and personalized insights, experts can get nuanced information across that previously would have required a live conversation. ✅ Cross-platform integration - no code required. Guidance works for any website, SaaS product, and cross-application processes without code. 🙋‍♀️ Answers in the right place, at the right time. Answers show up where and when they’re needed in the flow of work so viewers don’t waste time and energy searching for the right information or switching tabs. ✍️ Opportunity to provide feedback. Comments and reactions allow viewers to respond and react to specific steps in a documented process. This alerts creators to improvement opportunities including when something is out of date, doesn’t make sense, or there's simply a better way.
