I built @Tamadoggo so pet parents can track their dog or cat's whole life - health, walks, meals, milestones. But a few PH community folks told me: more than one person cares for the pet, so why does only one phone hold the journal? They were right!

Also new in 1.2.2: a friendly Family Welcome Hub for new members, a smoother in-form date picker, full-screen event photos you can swipe through, and snapping photos straight from the camera.

I haven't registered a lot of stuff over the past week, but I did add a few important events for Frankie (the forever-allergic doggo ), and I wanted to share one of the Weekly Insights that came out of it.
Most pet apps are clinical trackers. Tamadoggo is a living journal, a warm place to hold every walk, meal, vet visit and milestone.
What stands out: gentle AI that never nags or diagnoses. It surfaces patterns across the timeline, gives breed and age-aware suggestions, scans a vet doc (photo or PDF) into auto-filled records, and writes a warm monthly letter. Each pet gets a "Crib", an illustrated home for their whole life. The free tier is also genuinely complete. PRO adds the AI magic.
This update includes a few reliability improvements, including a fix for the AI Notifications setting, along with better background performance and battery efficiency.
It's nice to see that App Store reviews tend to move much faster after the initial approval. 48 hours for the initial review and just 8 hours for the latest update. Anyway, Tamadoggo just got a new release, and starting today, Crib is now open to all cats!
