What's new in Tamadoggo: vet PDFs, read and auto-filed and more! Version 1.3.0 is out today!
Hi PH fam!
Quick update since our Product Hunt launch - what's new in @Tamadoggo, our iOS journal for dogs and cats.
The BIG one: medical records. Scan or upload a vet PDF; the AI reads it and files the details onto your pet's timeline. One visit = one entry: attach the PDF plus photos (prescriptions, x-rays), and add more to visits you've logged.
A rebuilt Health Hub groups records by visit and shows photos, not just PDFs.
Medical photos go to a private in-app vault (Pro), not your public camera roll.
If the AI can't read a scan, you fill it in by hand, the file won't be lost.
Also shipped:
Pull-to-refresh on the timeline (empty state + haptics), hardened against duplicate requests from a fast double-pull.
Weekly AI insights are less repetitive, plus a "reviewed, nothing new" note for quiet weeks.
AI insights and the monthly summary are species-aware; cat language for cats, dog for dogs.
The monthly "letter" reads in the second person; fixed a wrapping bug that clipped it on iPhone.
Fixed per-pet data not refreshing when you switch pets.
Stricter ownership checks on timeline categories.
Off-app: website content + SEO refresh and new guides and landing pages.
Android launch is in the workings!
What should we build next?
