1. Handles tiers, discounts, promotions, commissions and taxes those plus weighting factors (1D, 2D, 3D), sophisticated calculations, large data set lookups (like postcode/zip code enrichment), rules around exclusions or excess/deductibles. The pricing model is built up in steps and can be as simple (membership) or complicated (motor insurance) as you need.
2. All team communication, shared assets, tasks, pricing changes go through an centralised approval process (similar to Github but with pricing focus). This allows the pricing to be versioned with a change history that can be exported for internal or external audits. Notifications are built-in.
