Suno v6 is a new generation of music models in three flavors: flagship v6, exploratory v6-wild, and free v6-mini. Edit one section or lyric without remaking the track, mash up your own songs, and start from text, audio, images, or video.

@Suno has shipped a lot of models by now. This time there are three.
v6 when you already know the song. v6-wild when you want it to wander a bit. v6-mini if you just want something fast and free.
The useful change is the editing. Change a chorus, swap one lyric, pull a riff from 0:45, mash two of your own tracks. You can also start from an image, a video, or a voice memo instead of a prompt box.
There’s another change around the model. v6 was developed with Warner Music Group, BMG, and Believe. That’s a new kind of relationship between AI music and the industry.
Older models are on the way out. This is the new default!
I've loved Suno since the very first version ❤️ I'm glad you're updating it and coming up with new and interesting features.

@umberto_abbatantuono the model retirement landing in the same release as the warner, bmg and believe deals is worth reading twice. checkpoints trained before those agreements are the awkward ones to keep serving. that timing probably answers why 4.5 is not staying up.
I tried v6 on some old style prompts and the quality was great but music itself seemed a bit generic (compared to previous models), but v6-wild was much more interesting. I still feel like 4.5 was the goat in terms of creative compositions, even if the fidelity was inferior. I understand the track separation and editing capability is the big upgrade, and that is definitely a good thing. Will have to test more.
