StoryWeave update: a more controllable writing workflow is now live
Shipped a solid P1 workflow update to StoryWeave.
This update focuses on making the product more useful for real writing projects, especially when moving from idea ->outline -> scenes -> chapter prose.
What changed:
- Structured project setup with story type, audience, narrative structure, and writing style
- More context-aware outline and scene workflows
- Rewrite flows that keep original drafts safe
- A dedicated chapter manuscript area
- AI scene-to-chapter drafting that writes into an editor first
- Markdown export that prioritizes confirmed chapter prose
A lot of AI writing tools are good at producing one output. The harder problem is keeping a longer workflow coherent and controllable.
That’s the direction StoryWeave is moving toward.
If you try it with a real writing project, I’d love to hear where the workflow helps and where it still feels unclear.
