We built Stornox after seeing Indian enterprises struggle with the same challenges: hidden cloud costs, uncertainty around data residency, growing ransomware threats, and increasing compliance requirements under the DPDP Act. Most cloud storage solutions were designed for global scale—not for India's regulatory landscape. We wanted to create a platform where enterprises never have to choose between security, compliance, performance, and cost. Stornox takes a different approach: every file is encrypted, fragmented, replicated, and distributed across geo-fenced Indian locations. Combined with zero-knowledge encryption, S3 Object Lock, and full S3 compatibility, it gives organizations complete control over their data without changing their existing workflows.
