Thanks, glad you liked it, and yeah I was even surprised by how good some of the generated quotes were. But maybe stoics and ML are good at being obtuse.
As for access to the API, I just applied for access and was honest about what I wanted to try. I have heard more and more people waiting for access lately though. I suspect when you apply they want to know that you’ve give some thought to what your thinking of building and not just a toy to play with.
Hi 👋
I'm Simon, I made a thing and this is my first launch on ph. I built this following my interests in the stoic philosophy & trying out GPT3 technology.
One stoic practice involves rewriting the sentiment of an existing quote in your own words, it's really hard. 2000 years ago they nailed the pithy wise quote. I thought maybe gpt3 could help me out.
You will have to be the judge of whether it's as good as Marcus Aurelius, let me know in the comments.
This is such a fun idea to read quotes, good idea and great execution Simon

?makers Congrats. This is great for both philosophy enthusiasts and people new to Stoic thought. Well done.

This is like the opposite of the "Guess whether this is a real Deepak Chopra quote or random AI-generated nonsense." Instead of being silly because everything is silly gibberish, it's serious because everything has clear meaning. Very impressive!
