Excited to finally get this service out and show it off on Product Hunt first. The concept of "spec samples" is big in the print world, but no one's doing it cost effectively in sticker land yet. This service is designed to help anyone that want to inexpensively see spec samples of their designs before placing a bigger order. It's also ideal for customers to show a new design off in real life around the office. We ship Test Drive orders for free via UPS 2nd Day Air too so that the turnaround is blazing fast. Would love to get feedback from the Product Hunt community. :)

we've been working hard to get free international shipping costs lower. right now its free to Australia on orders over $100 USD.

Ha! I'm hoping we can. I remember a few years back worrying that we were almost out of ideas, but our roadmap has grown quite long lately. Lots more coming soon! :)
Seems cool, but I've ordered a lot of custom stickers and $2/1 sticker is not a good rate. Not sure why this is being promoted like it's some doorbusting deal. #!. They do 21 pieces for $20 with no shipping. There goes my cynicism again :P. Everyone seems to love stickermule though so I'll try them out sometime.

Hey Blaine, thanks for posting & hope you give us a try. Our Test Drive service is quite different than what the other company you mentioned is doing. 1) Our Test Drive service includes free shipping via UPS 2nd Day Air. By contrast, their "free shipping" deal is for USPS 1st Class Mail which is prone to lost packages and substantial delays. We refuse to ship bulk orders via USPS because they often lose orders. If you want to upgrade to UPS they charge $32 and for UPS Express they charge $50. 2) Our online proofing system puts the responsibility on us to ensure optimal quality. We work with our customers during proofing to ensure their stickers look exactly how they want. By contrast, their design online tool makes you responsible for the end product and is less flexible to work with than our proofing team. We designed Test Drive to help you try us out before placing a bulk order. To that end, it's important that it's fast (free 2nd day air) and also optimized to ensure you get amazing quality even though the order size is small (free online proofing FTW!). The major innovation here is our ability to scale proofing to support lots of really small orders and the cost savings is that you get a high quality sample batch of stickers in record time. That said, Test Drive is still V1.0 so there's plenty of room for us to continue innovating on it. Thanks for giving us a nudge to do that :)
