Booking.com reviews are not enough to book a hotel
by•
I genuinely don’t understand how people book a hotel based on a single review platform.
A hotel can be 8.7/10 on Booking.com and then you check Google Maps and suddenly you’re reading 200 reviews about noise, cleanliness, terrible service, etc.
So I built StayCheck (for a friend and myself)
It puts the Google Maps rating, review count and selected reviews directly on hotel pages on Booking.com, Agoda and Expedia.
No account. No booking. Just a second opinion before you hand over your money.
It currently works on those three sites. Next goal is Airbnb.
Curious: do you actually check Google Maps before booking a hotel, or am I just being paranoid?
