Hey Product Hunt 👋!

I’m Hamish, co-founder of @Squad AI

Today we’re announcing Squad 3.0, the AI Product Manager.

A brief history: Over the past year we’ve seen an explosion of activity in the builder and product communities due to vibe coding and the growing accessibility of creating new products. We love this. It’s a huge factor in our mission to “allow anyone to develop and manage software, properly.”

However, there is a problem: These new tools only get you 80% of the way there. They have no business or user context. You ship and then what?

Good product teams figure out what to build next by gathering as much context as possible — e.g. market research, user behaviour, business performance — to inform their strategy.

And that’s exactly what we built Squad 3.0 to do.

Squad 3.0 is a system of agents that will:

  • Analyse your data, surface insights, and build your product roadmap

  • Align business and user needs to give you clear guidance on what to build next

  • Then keep everything in sync as you learn, ship, and change direction

Lastly, we would love your feedback, especially on two things:

  1. Which part of your product workflow feels most painful right now (discovery, prioritisation, PRDs, task breakdown, something else)?

  2. What’s the one thing you’d want an AI Product Manager to fully own for you?

Huge thanks for checking us out and for any questions, critiques, or ideas you’re willing to share.

Hi Product Hunt - I'm Steven, co-founder and one of the engineers at @Squad AI 🧑‍💻

I'm curious: what does your product discovery process look like today? How has AI impacted that in the last year? Personally, I spend a lot of time working on Squad in agentic engineering tools like Claude Code which is a game changer for speed and productivity.

So what if we applied this agentic technology to Product? That's the thesis behind Squad 3.0 and we're very excited to launch it today on Product Hunt.

Rachit Malik

I’m thrilled we can finally share this.

The biggest surprise for me while building Squad was how much confusion disappears once strategy, goals, and insight actually talk to each other.

I cant wait to see how Product managers and Founders fast-track the entire product development process using Squad AI.

Peter McArthur

I can't wait to hear about all the great products people will develop using squad. We've already had some great success stories and V3 builds on these successes to make product development feel even more intuitive.

Daniel Bathurst

v3 reflects months of late nights, tough decisions and countless iterations, and it’s been a real team effort to bring it to life. excited to see how everyone uses it 😎

Hey all 👋,

I'm Adam, co-founder of @Squad AI

Like many others, for me, AI has unlocked the ability to turn an idea idea into application in matter of minutes... but where do you go from there?

That's why we build Squad. Squad integrates with all you builders, my personal favourite is via the MCP. This allows me to remain in claude code and keep doing the things I love, building. Whilst Squad handles all the busy work telling me what I should build based on real insights driven by market research and user feedback.

Really proud of the squad team for what they have achieved. 💪

Give it a try today, it’s free!

Looove how Squad sits right between product and go-to-market. Super excited to see this evolve!!

I've been using Squad AI for about a year now, and it's become one of those tools I actually rely on. I'm in product management and business analysis, so I'm constantly drowning in data, feedback, and half formed ideas. Squad has helped me make sense of it all way more than I expected.

The Insights feature is probably my favourite thing about it. It basically takes all the customer feedback, analytics, and random notes I've scattered everywhere and turns them into something I can actually work with, in proper themes and priorities.

I have always been a big Notion user and the fact that Squad now integrates with Notion has been a real game changer for me and the team. Everything syncs right into my workspace, so I'm not constantly jumping between apps or copy pasting stuff around.

What stands out is that Squad doesn't just spit out generic AI generated docs or surface level ideas. It actually connects the dots between what we're trying to achieve, what customers are asking for, and what solutions make sense. It's helped me build roadmaps I can stand behind and explain decisions with thoughtful clarity.

They have a pretty responsive and switched on team too, which is always good. We have a company AI chat model and I needed to fiddle with sources to get things just right with MCP integration and wasn't sure of the approach. I reached out to team and I was up and running in no time.

If you're a PM or BA dealing with information overload and need to cut through it quickly without pasting everything into a ChatGPT project, I'd definitely recommend giving Squad a shot.

@sukh_singh5 awesome to hear you're loving the Insights and MCP features. What is one feature you would like an AI PM to own end-to-end?

Sukh Singh

@hamishjacksonmee In the context of the full SDLC, one feature I'd want an AI PM to own end-to-end is documentation, creation, maintenance and proactive updating.

Product cycles move too fast, which makes keeping docs current, cumbersome. An AI PM that continuously keeps PRDs, decision logs, requirements and customer-facing docs synced and accurate would solve this big pain point.

For an MLP of the AI PM owning documentation end-to-end, the first lovable slice could be AI driven 'Release Comms'. If Squad can automatically detect what changed, summarise impacts, generate user-friendly release notes and push them into tools like Notion or Slack, that alone would save teams hours every sprint, and it’s a natural foundation for the bigger vision of the AI PM maintaining all documentation.

Really interesting product! It feels like its the part missing from most of the AI tools that are popping up recently, addressing the what instead of just the how.

Hamish Jackson-Mee

@jake_thacker1 we like to think so. The missing piece of the AI product development cycle! We're keen to dig into how QA fits into this too...

Ben Van Leeuwarden

Squad has genuinely made my product work easier. Instead of digging through tons of feedback or guessing what should go on the roadmap, it pulls everything together in a way that actually makes sense. The Discovery agent is surprisingly good at finding real patterns in what users say.

I also like that it helps outline strategy and write PRDs so I am not starting from a blank page every time. Very happy with it , keep it up guys.
