πŸ‘‹ Hi Product Hunters! My name is Anatoli, I'm an Indie Maker from Berlin. 🍾 It's a really special day for me, I'm so so glad to present you SQL Habit – online course that I've been building for the last 5 months. After 600+ commits on Github, 160 written lessons and exercises, 100+ attempts to record a welcome video – here I am πŸ˜… πŸ“ˆ SQL Habit is a course that helps you master SQL on real life situations from Product Management and Marketing. You'll not only learn the difference between INNER and LEFT joins, but how to think about data, metrics and what to measure. ❗️After 10 years of working with data in small and big companies I can with certainty say that learning SQL "in a vacuum" doesn't work, one needs context. πŸ“– This is why I bundled all my experience into a story of a fictional startup called Bindle that sells subscriptions for reading books. Together with Bindle founders you'll face different situations in marketing and product. You'll learn how to ask the right questions and answer them with data. πŸ“š Few examples from the course content: - what are AARRR metrics and how to measure and calculate them - how to calculate ROI and segment marketing data by various attributes (country, devices etc) - what is Unit Economics and how calculate it (CPA, ARPU etc) - what is Marketing Attribution Model and how to build it using SQL ☝️That's just a few topics and I'll continue publishing more and more examples to cover any situation one could encounter in the life of a modern Internet company. πŸ™Œ I'm really looking for you feedback and thoughts on the course! πŸ‘‰ P.S. The course is 60% ready. It means that the first 160 lessons required for a certificate are published. They cover everything one needs to know to answer any question with SQL. I'll keep 40% Early Bird discount until I publish all the content.

Happy to see this launch to the wider public Anatoli! I think my favorite part of SQL Habit has to be how inside the lesson I can switch to an actual, working SQL editor and test out different queries. That makes the learning so much more tangible and pragmatic. Fast forward the video to 1:40 to see it in action πŸ™‚

@vlasyuk_a 5.5 months and counting πŸ˜€ I think once I'm finished there's going to be 300 lessons at least covering all possible situations in Product or Marketing πŸš€

Paid user here. Especially love that you tie it into business value, and not just the "how to do it"!
