Spline Beta - Design and collaborate in 3D

Spline is so much fun. If you never wanted to touch 3DS Max because it looked too scary/complex -- then give Spline a chance. It feels like very Sketch/Figma-ish and it really is just fun playing around with materials and the properties. Having played around this week again (not with the beta, but the 'stable' version) I do see that it crashes quite, quite often. It'll auto-save, so it's fine, but something to keep in mind (Could also be the M1 version I'm using) Oh, yes, instead of just drawing something I found it much more motivating to just import any (not too complex) SVG you may have (like your company logo!) and then start modifying that in 3D.

I have experience with making 3D interfaces in JS and I'm so impressed with how smooth the tool is! I can only congratulate you and the team :)

I'm excited for this kind of tooling to become native to the web. :)

I completely agree that creating in 3D can be a big challenge for creators. Companies often have to outsource 3D projects, which can get costly. But if Spline is helping creators by making an accessible, easy, and collaborative 3D-first design tool, then kudos to you as a maker @alelepd! The video you posted on Product Hunt is a great introduction to Spline and how it can make 3D projects easily and collaboratively. 2. The landing page has a great design that communicates all of the features perfectly, with clear and eye-catching headlines. Some Observations/Questions 👀 1. I'm not sure how much the pricing is for this tool, since it's not mentioned on the landing page. 2. I think it would be useful to list some specific use cases where this tool could come in handy- like for example, creating NFTs which are currently in high demand. 3. If you have customizable pre-designed templates, it would be great to showcase them on your landing page. When I watched the video, I thought this tool could be as easy as Canva, and anyone who is even a non-designer can utilize it. But I couldn't find anything related to templates on your landing page.
