I deleted the dashboard from my own finance app. Am I insane?

Built-in-public confession: last week I ripped the entire dashboard out of Spendalyst. Charts, category rings, the net-worth graph — gone. I kept opening my own product and realizing I never looked at those screens. I built a money app, and I was avoiding it like everyone else avoids their bank app.

So now there's basically one thing: one coaching insight, every Monday. Numbers, not guilt. That's it. Half of me thinks this is the clearest the product has ever been. The other half is convinced I just stripped out the features people expect from a "real" finance app and I'll regret it on launch day (Aug 12 — gulp).
