👋 Hi Product Hunt! We're excited to launch a new set of features and improvements for SpatialChat designed to make virtual events more engaging and easier to manage. Among the updates are: 🎤 Pass the Mic — Speakers and admins can seamlessly hand the microphone to audience members for live Q&A and discussions. ⏱️ Global Stage Timer — A speaker-only timer helps presenters stay on schedule without being visible to attendees. These are just two of several new enhancements we've released based on feedback from our customers who host conferences, webinars, classrooms, and community events on SpatialChat. You can find our full list of new features on our change log. We're excited to hear your thoughts and answer any questions. Thanks for supporting our launch! 🚀

 congrats on the launch!

congrats on the launch team. These seem like some nice tools to help facilitation. Timer is a real help irl.

Congrats on the launch, James! The new engagement features look great. I actually just ran the virtual events and interactive classroom niche through my tool, MarketGapAI, which analyzes thousands of reviews and complaints across G2 and Capterra. Interestingly, the biggest complaint from hosts when transitioning from passive webinars to interactive stages is the chaos of managing audio feedback and background noise when audience members are handed the mic unexpectedly.

Curious to know - does SpatialChat include auto-muting or noise suppression algorithms for the 'Pass the Mic' feature, or are you focusing on the host UI controls to keep things orderly?

SpatialChat makes remote calls feel less stiff.

I like the spatial room idea.

Good for casual team hangouts.

This feels better than another grid call.

Nice for events and community chats.

I’d try this for remote workshops.

Simple, but more human than normal video calls.

Moving around a room makes online meetings less awkward.

The spatial audio concept is such a game-changer. Being able to join conversations organically instead of waiting for breakout rooms creates a much more engaging experience. Great work by the team! 👏

I really like the focus on improving the experience for both speakers and organizers. The "Pass the Mic" feature feels like a simple addition that can make Q&A sessions much more natural and interactive.

It's always nice to see updates driven by real customer feedback
