Hi All, I’m Leo, CEO of StaySorted, and the creator of Sorted. The app started out as a personal project of mine and grew into a bit of an obsession. I wanted a todo app that allowed me to schedule tasks without using clunky date pickers and be quick to update when my schedule changes. So a big focus of the app is on creative gestures that help me “get things done” quickly. https://youtu.be/jEPS_w16UTc Love to know your thoughts and answer any questions that you might have!

@iamkulio Shout out from Hong Kong. Been keeping an eye on this one. Great work!

@nzieber Hi Nick. Thanks for the shout out. We're based in Cyberport, so if you ever head in then let me buy you a drink. 👍

TechCrunch were kind enough to write about us last Friday - http://techcrunch.com/2016/04/14...

I'm a sucker for todo list apps, I love Clear, and I live on my calendar. So this app looked like the dream. However, it doesn't include your existing calendar in its list, making it unusable for me. How can I schedule a task at 2pm without knowing if I'm free then? I suppose this might work for freelancers, but for anyone that uses a calendar this may not work. How are you guys thinking about that use case? EDIT: Just noticed you commented above that it's in the pipeline. Looking forward to it!

@daretorant Thanks for your feedback Salman. Yes, we have been getting a lot of users asking for calendar integration and so this is high on the priority list!

Awesome! Have been trying to find a better tool to replace my evernote to do list! Can't wait to check it out.
Leo Tumwattana
@cathnotey Thanks Cath. Look forward to your feedback! #StaySorted.

Looks like Clear on steroids. http://realmacsoftware.com/clear/
Leo Tumwattana
@philipamour Yes. I love Clear and have been their user for years now. I continue to use it to store things like what to pack when I take short business trips and ingredients for my favorite recipes. I use Sorted to plan and action my day. ;)

I'm constantly trying out new to-do list but always find myself somewhere between too complicated and oversimplified. This looks very promising! Robust enough to help me keep track of projects but not so heavy on the tags and labels and filters that I'm discouraged from using it regularly enough to be effective... Nice job, guys!
Leo Tumwattana
@bellauccella Wow thanks. Really glad you like what we did. We're a small but dedicated team and it's encouragements like these that keeps us going!

Quick question, am I able to sync with calendar events where I can see the tasks on system calendar? With the option sync to a specific system calendar, I can see what the current task is directly on my apple watch.
Leo Tumwattana
@shantianyun Hi Jerry. Not yet, but calendar integration is in the pipeline. What we want to do is continue to keep a balance between simplicity, speed of interaction and additional power. We are working on that sweet spot for calendar integration.
Paul Sturrock
@iamkulio @shantianyun I really like the execution and the simplicity of the design, so I agree with the need to hit that sweet spot. However, for me integration would make a huge difference. I would use it as a cross between Plan and Proud. Great job!
Leo Tumwattana
@psturrock @shantianyun Thanks Paul. +1 to calendar integration. ;)

I really love the prioritisation of interactions over "features". Looks fantastic as a mobile device - congrats and well done! The TechCrunch article mentioned a Mac app. What is planned to make the same kind of UX awesomeness for the Mac version?
Leo Tumwattana
@davedri Thanks for the great question. I believe it's important to keep continuity between our iOS and Mac apps. Certain gestures like taps on iOS makes sense to be translated as clicks on the Mac. As for the swipe selection gesture, that will work when users are using their touch pads, but we will also have shift-mouse click as a fall back method as well.

Started using this earlier this week, as a replacement for a mixture of other applications, and so far I love it. It has a great combination of speed to enter and manage my tasks, as well as power user features.
Leo Tumwattana
@doriancollier Hi Dorian. Thanks and really glad you like what we came up with. 😄
Joshua Arnao
Is there no way to create reoccurring tasks? That is a deal breaker.
Charlie Morris
Hi @joshuaarnao, I'm afraid that there is no recurring task functionality at the moment. However, this is a request that we are hearing very frequently and so it is now high on our list of new features.
Leo Tumwattana
Hi @joshuaarnao. We're looking into recurring tasks and want get gather user feedback. Would you mind sharing with me what is most important for you regarding recurring reminders? Speed of setting it up? Do you need really complex recurring schemes? Which app's recurring reminders setup do you like best?
Joshua Arnao
@iamkulio I just want the same time and day every week
Leo Tumwattana
@joshuaarnao Thanks for the quick reply. Roger that!
