Should calorie tracking be built into a broader food safety scan?

We’re adding calorie tracking to SnackPro.
But we don’t want it to be “just another calorie counter.”
When someone scans food, they may care about calories, but also allergens, high sugar, sodium, saturated fat, pregnancy-risk foods, GMO concerns, ultra-processed ingredients, or whether it fits vegan, kosher, or halal needs.
Real food decisions are not one-dimensional.
Would you rather track calories separately, or see calories as part of a fuller food safety and nutrition view?
