Hi Product Hunt! I’m Alison, founder of Smitty. I built Smitty because I kept noticing how much of family life wasn’t actually doing things, it was keeping track of them. School emails. Sports updates. Calendars. PDFs. Screenshots. Forms. Things someone mentioned weeks ago. And the constant background process of figuring out: What matters? When does it matter? Who needs to know? Even when other people are happy to help, someone still has to be the person who knows. I wanted to see if technology could carry more of that invisible work. So I built Smitty. You can send it the information your family already receives, connect the places you already use, and Smitty figures out what matters, organizes it, and makes sure the right people know at the right time. The goal isn’t to give families a better system to maintain. It’s to give them less to maintain in the first place.
