Hi everyone, We’re excited to share this employee onboarding checklist! We’re a 14-people team at Slite but we’ve already learned one valuable lesson: onboarding new employees smoothly takes lots of planning. It inspired us to share a collaborative and public version of our process! We hope it inspires your team :) It's work in progress — please help us improve it: how do you onboard new employees? what have we totally forgotten? Love it! Are we able to do side menu (Steps) on Slite now? When did that arrive??? 😲 Also didn't know about the show/hide checklists. Are those available too?

Looks good. In previous roles I've hired tons of people -- and things tend to slip through the cracks. Going to recommend this to folks I know in rapid hiring mode.

Thanks Graham glad to hear it can help! Definitely, every new hire onboarding is unique but having some level of consistency has proven efficient for us (so far!!)
Hi love the quality of the checklist (both in terms of content and presentation) How does one create a public checklist similar to this, with the same UI used in this checklist?

Thanks :) we created this checklist in house! But you could definitely use Slite to create checklists with your team and then make it public :) (like this for example: )
Hey, I tried this out, but the user can't check off any of the checklist boxes (unlike the demo link) 🙁 I would love for a public checklist to be able to do that, and the state to be saved in cookies, so that whenever the same user accesses it, they see the last state. Not sure whether this would fit your roadmap or not, but just wanted to communicate this to you 😃

it actually does fit in our roadmap :) we are going to be releasing the possibility to edit public notes in the next month - so you'll be able to get external people to edit and check off boxes!
