Skillshare Mavericks - Free, online school to learn the most in-demand skills

Hey everyone! Michael from Skillshare here. I’m excited to announce Skillshare Mavericks, which is a new online school that will be 100% free. We’re unlike any other program: no teachers or classes. We don’t charge tuition and it’s 100% free, forever. Our entire curriculum and experience is centered around both project-based learning and peer-to-peer learning. Mavericks will offer education, community, and real-world training for today's most in-demand professions. Our goal is to provide upward mobility based on motivation, aptitude, and potential. We want to do our part in bringing the world closer to a true meritocracy. This starts with leveling the playing field for as many people as possible. I really like the skillshare platform and community -- they have done an amazing job helping people improve their skillsets. Looking forward to see how this model transitions to technical skill sets like Blockchain and Data Science

Pros:

Free education -- We have had an incredibly tough time hiring Blockchain talent. Looking forward to high caliber grads!

Cons:

Still waiting to try the specific Mavericks platform
