I built a water tracker that shows the hidden cost of dehydration
Most hydration apps failed for me for one simple reason:
They felt easy to ignore.
A notification saying “drink water” never created urgency.
So I built Sippa — a water tracker that makes hydration feel real by showing the possible cost your body may pay from poor hydration habits over time.
The idea came after noticing how many people only start caring about water after headaches, fatigue, low energy, dry skin, or doctor visits start happening.
Sippa includes:
• Water intake tracking
• Daily streaks
• AI hydration reports
• Health summaries you can share with your doctor
• A simple interface without unnecessary clutter
The goal wasn’t to build another reminder app.
It was to build something that changes behavior.
Would love feedback from the community on:
The core idea
The positioning
Features you’d personally want in a hydration app
