Music album recommendations are easy to lose, buried in notes, screenshots, playlists, chats, and half-remembered conversations. I kept finding myself forgetting albums I genuinely wanted to listen to, or spending time trying to remember where I had saved them. And many apps mix album tracking with social features, ratings, scores, reviews, news, recommendations, or discovery feeds. Those things can be useful, but they often add noise and shift the focus away from the core problem I wanted to solve: keeping track of the albums you want to listen to. So I decided to build Side B for myself first: a simple, focused app to give all those albums one clean place to live. It started as a personal solution to a real problem, and after using it for a while, I realized it could be useful for other people who still enjoy listening to full albums too.
