Shift Fuel started with research, not from me trying to solve a personal schedule problem. I spent time looking into how night and rotating shift workers actually eat. Things like irregular meal timing, caffeine cutoff, and how most calorie-tracking apps miss the realities of 2-2-3 schedules and overnight rotations.
The big takeaway was simple: timing around your shift and sleep matters more than tracking macros alone. That’s what inspired me to build Shift Fuel something focused on meal windows, reminders, and a home-screen widget that makes it easier to stay on track without overthinking it on break.
