I built the MVP of my startup on the old version of Sharetribe (Sharetribe GO). With GO I grew the business to 100+ users, and attracted an investor. I’ve been working on an improved experience with this new version of Sharetribe and it’s looking incredible. I highly recommend Sharetribe to anyone looking to start or grow their marketplace. It stands out from anything else I’ve seen because it has an easy to use no-code editor but also has a powerful developer package that can help achieve near unlimited customizations. I've had the pleasure of utilizing Sharetribe for my marketplace needs and I must say, it's an absolute game-changer. The platform is not only user-friendly but also incredibly versatile, making it perfect for both beginners and experienced developers. What impresses me the most is the seamless integration of essential features and the platform's intuitive design, which significantly reduces the time and effort required to launch a marketplace. I've personally built 4 marketplaces on top of Sharetribe, catering to both large companies and startups. Hello! Current user of Sharetribe Go here. I haven't yet migrated over to the new Sharetribe for a few reasons. Offering a bit of constructive feedback in the hope that Sharetribe can get even better - overall it's an excellent product and by far the best way to quickly launch a marketplace, but there are a few minor improvements that would make it so much better: 1. The new homepage is prettier but isn't necessarily better/more functional. I want my landing page to display my listings, not for my listings to be hidden behind a button. Without users being able to visit my site and see its listings in the first second - which lets them understand immediately what my site is about and why they should use it - many of them will bounce off the site and never return. There should be an option to display listings on the homepage like in Sharetribe Go, instead of the articles/carousels/videos in the new version. 2. The static content pages for SEO are a fantastic initiative, but there's no way to see/access static pages from the homepage if they're not linked in-text. It would be great if all (or at least some) static pages could be made visible/accessible from a drop-down menu at the top bar, or from the footer (where the logos/privacy policies etc are). 3. There's no ability to display listing prices in a user’s local currency. I understand this is possible with a developer, but it would be extremely helpful to have this as an out-of-the-box solution, especially considering the fees the Sharetribe-approved developers charge. Not having this feature out of the box is a massive drawback for any marketplace that operates internationally like mine. 4. The new Sharetribe has significantly worse support for multiple layers of categories and sub-categories than Sharetribe Go. I understand this is something you’re working on, but it's a key reason why I haven't yet migrated over to the new Sharetribe. 5. This is a slightly lower priority, but Google Analytics doesn't work 100% with Sharetribe. For example, when I check Google Analytics, I can see the number of visitors, the pages they've visited, and what countries they're from, but not the Active users by First user medium/source/campaign. There's also no support for Meta Pixel. Otherwise, I'm a huge fan and have found Sharetribe to be an excellent solution for building a marketplace. Keep up the great work!!

Congrats on launching, and I love how easy and simple it looks to use. For people like myself who are not well-versed in building websites and pages, it can be quite intimidating. However, this makes it feel like anyone can get started and build their marketplace quick and easy! I also really like how you can customize it for those who are comfortable adding their own code!

Congratulations on the launch! Sharetribe is impressive! The no-code aspect for building marketplaces is a game-changer, especially with the customization options. I saw the point about Stripe integration - maybe offering more payment choices could broaden its appeal. The reviews highlight a strong support team, which is always a big plus. Here's some advice to you, reader: Try Sharetribe. I don't care if you're not interested in building a marketplace. But to get Sharetribe, you have to sign up for a trial and see it for yourself. Trust me, go ahead and do it. Developing marketplaces is timeconsuming and really expensive. I've wanted to start one for a long time - but having grown up with Shopify, I just didn't want to pursue it on my own. So - I went ahead and sat down, and tried every single "marketplace builder" I could find, around a year ago. There were some. They were all really antiquated, buggy and bad. Until I found Sharetribe. I gave it a quick trial. And I was instantly blown away. Just by looking at any site built on Sharetribe - you can see that whatever is powering this thing was coded by a bunch of wizards. The quality shines in every aspect of the site. They all feel like a unicorn startup. The exact opposite of the marketplaces made by any competitors - and that term feels insulting to even use when speaking of the other marketplace builders. Because let's be honest - there is no competition. I sincerely believe that Sharetribe is, in all aspects, a company that will change the world and join the ranks of the likes of Stripe and Shopify. (They all start with S too!) I've started building a marketplace with my team on Sharetribe, and it has blown away our expections already during that time with impressive updates and future plans. Pure execution. The team has been incredibly helpful. I asked them a legal question that may impact me as a seller on their platform, and they had their legal team spend some hours looking into it. Something really special is going on here. Don't miss it!

i have been using Sharetribe for a while and eagerly waiting for it's current release. Whenever I connected with the Sharetribe team they said to wait for the new version. I am hopeful that the new version stands out on all the promises and helps extend features and customisation as explained here. Good luck with the launch!

I built and launched multiple marketplaces in the past, and trust me, it's a hassle. I signed up for a trial using the marketplace wizard and boy, I wish I had this years ago. Fr, It's great to see guys like Juho and his team are helping marketplace founders by saving them time and money. I might even change my plans for this year. Great job!

Congratulations Joho and the rest of the Sharetribe team. We custom-built our last marketplace and ended up spending $11m USD. We used Sharetibe along with the Marketplace Studio team to build Bunking and we have spent a fraction of what we did building custom and it has been 10x faster. Sharetribe helped us limit our risk and cash burn substantially while looking for and eventually finding product market fit. The customer service is excellent and every new release adds value to what we are building. Highly recommend and thanks again!
